One Serious tournament that St. Mungo Golf Club are involved in is ‘The National Guardian Trophy’, so called as it was presented by the Licensed Trade’s newspaper and is for the Inter-City Association, matches held annually in May. St. Mungo represents Glasgow. The other cities involved are Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee. Perth ceased playing and were succeeded by Fife. Currently the table stands at Edinburgh 41 victories, Glasgow 39, Dundee 20, Perth 14 and Kirkcaldy 1
