St Mungo Quaich
Bogey Competition

This trophy was presented to the club in 1931 by the following members Mr. J.F Connell, Mr. J. Greenlees, Mr. J. Robb, Mr W.Brechin & Mr. A.W. Reid.
The St Mungo Quaich is a Bogey competition. It is currently played from the Yellow Markers and is a form of stroke play, that uses scoring as in when you play Match Play, you are playing against the course which always scores Par, so a nett Birdie always wins. A Bogey always losese.
On completion the score is the difference between pluses and minuses. The more Birdies that you have over Bogey's, the better the chance of winning.
